Some Useless Statistics:
Total Books read in 2016 – 157
Bookcrossing Books: 96 Non-BC Books: 61
Fiction: 98 Non Fiction: 59

On BookObsessed, I’ve set my goal for 160 books.  Blame it on Pokemon, I find myself lagging behind in my reading.  Especially when for a while I could not even listen to audio books while catching pokemons. I tried to play catch up in December.  On New Year’s Eve, my husband picked me up to go to a friend’s house for a party in another city 5 hours away.  I didn’t factor in that it’s winter so the sun set pretty early, and I didn’t get to read as much as I’d like.  I did manage to finish an audio book.  We arrived at the party at around 9’ish, but short of declaring a diarrhea emergency, I couldn’t think of a way to lock myself up to read.  But I wasn’t ready to make myself anitsocial the rest of the night, so I just have to live with  the knowledge that I *could have* completed my goal, but I didn’t.
